Very authentic
Great variety of choices
Lunch set and tasting menu are both great.
If you want to try everything just go with the tasting menu.
The Papadam gave me great surprise!
The flavour is the best I’ve ever tried🥰
I really want to try the peppercorn chicken
So I choose the set lunch menu.
Very very tasty! Enough of heat from the pepper
The chicken is super tender and juicy 🥰
Curry fish is tasty
Actually everything is good
Staff are super friendly and the environment is relaxing with lots of sunlight
Well after been recommended this restaurant for the past 3 years, I've finally come. I gotta say, it was well worth it. Comparably to Henry that was next door, this is definitely a level higher. Anyways the food! Perfect delicious and packs a punch! We order several Al a carte and I'm glad all our choices were top notch.
Got the appetizer baked samosa, and then the beef wagyu cheek tandoori. And finally the slow cooked pork Vindaloo which they told us explicitly that it would be very spicy! 🔥
They got the orders out in order accordingly to the flavour levels. And their suggestions were well done. It was a definite crescendo.
The samosa had a great aroma, and then the delicate crust was amazing. Although it was actually better without the tzatziki like sauce. It was a great starter.
Wagyu beef cheek, tender, flavourful, and just the right amount of spice. Everypiece was just a big bites of meat. Again the dish tasted great without the sauce. Thought the sauce ruined it a bit.
Vindaloo, the best dish of the bunch. I can see why they warned me about the spice level. However it was just perfect for me. It was definitely the climax of my meal. We paired it with a the garlic naan and my gosh did I want more. I shouldve brought the leftover sauces back home. Cause Im still thinking about the dish while I'm typing this.
We had two to three waiters helping us through the meal. and everyone was just very attentive and kind.
The dessert was a bit of a downer. The Kulfi was unfortunately not something I liked. Everything in there is fine and placed together well, but the texture was off for me.
Otherwise everything was well done. Definitely a place I'd like to come back one day.
As long as you are prepared to delve deep into your pockets, Chaat is well worth a visit. The whole team here clearly care deeply about your experience. Everything is perfectly curated from the menu to the farewells at the end of the night, a flawless evening is guaranteed. We went for the special New Years Eve menu, and the food was divine, unlike some other fancy restaurants we left fully stuffed. Get the port, it's part drink part experience and you won't regret it!
Chaat is one of the best one Michelin Star Restaurants I’ve been to in Hong Kong. Their food is really good and raises one of my favourite cuisines to a whole new level. What I really like is that they give you the no frills street food, …
CHAAT is a popular Indian restaurant in Hong Kong, you need to book here at least one month in advance. Both food and atmosphere here are good, it's a nice dining experience overall.
Came here for a late dinner at 8:30pm as that’s the only available timeslot I can book. The staff is friendly and willing to explain the dish if you need any help on ordering. The atmosphere is nice, as the tables are not packed, it gives you more privacy to chat with your friends.
Food here is great, love their Tandoori Octopus and Lamb dum biryani, but nothing really surprising. All of their dishes are decent, but don't expect something outstanding.
Although the restaurant with great cross-harbor views, but only if you can accept alfresco dining
Amazing food from Chaat. Indian cuisine is not my normal choice, but Chaat did the job and left me a good impression. We had a few dishes and they were all great.
Chaat is one of the hardest tables to book in Hong Kong. It is a Michelin one-starred restaurant bringing Indian street food with an elevated twist. This is no doubt the BEST Indian meal in my life. All the dishes were authentic while …
A Michelin-starred restaurant in the hip Rosewood Hotel, with a nice atmosphere and wonderful terrace with scenic views of Victoria Harbour. Upscale take on Indian food. Good service. Need to book months in advance, especially for dinner.
